Michael Rademaker was born in Louisville, Kentucky in February of 1967. He is a graduate of Anchorage Public School, Eastern High School and the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

He started his insurance career in 1989 as a claim adjuster for Humana Inc., moving to group health underwriter in 1990. He then joined Thoroughbred Associates in 1992 as the Employee Benefits Specialist. Since then he has moved on to be the Personal Lines Manager and a sales person for Employee Benefits, Personal and Commercial Insurance. He is also the Agency Automation Specialist and in 2004 became a Vice President of the agency.

Mike is an Eagle Scout and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor’s designation. He has actively served on the Louisville Board of Independent Insurance Agents and was their president in 1998 and again in 1999.

He is a member of Beargrass Christian Church of which he and his wife are both deacons. His son is enrolled in Middletown Elementary School.
